I am looking for Kiyoko Kishimoto. I knew her in 1963-64 while stationed in Naha. Her father owned a department store in downtown Naha. We were good friends and travelled all over the island together. She went off to college and I was transfered.

Hey Johnnie good luck in your search. Think a few of us need to return to Okinawa and pursue some of these searchs. I think that is about the only way someone can be found, unless you want to hire a private investigator. I was on Okinawa from Feb 1961-May 1963 and wish I could turn back the clock and do things differently.

yes, good luck! I found a gal I dated in Naha back in 1967-68. Having her last name
is helpful. I also found her rather irate husband. (haha)

If you need help, email me.

I'm fairly good at Internet searching.
Ancestry.com has their free public library edition that was VERY helpful for me. Also ZabaSearch and a few others.
Ms CI, who I found, fortunatly had a rare first name. I used Naomi's site "Lost in Okinawa" too bad it's now gone

I was stationed in the Army at the 2nd Log Command (Machinato service area) 585th MaintCo, a few miles north of Naha on the west coast, from 3/67 to 10/67. To include 3 TDY trips with USARPAC Calibration Teams.
