I am in search of my mother's family in or around Okinawa, Japan. My mother's name is Masae Foust and her maiden name was Miyagi. She was born 29 July 1952. Her place of birth is #1519, Aza-Oyama, Ginowan City, Okinawa-ken. The papers I have state my mother's permanent address was #53, Aza-Mashiki, Ginowan Citiy, Okinawa-ken. Her present address at the time was #636, Aza-Mashiki, Ginowan City, Okinawa-ken. My mother married a U.S Army soldier 1974 or 1975 and left with him to the United States in 1976.

My mother's parents are Sieyu and Kame Miyagi. My grandmother's last name before she married was Miyahira. I do know Sieyu Miyagi had died early in my mother's life. My mother has five siblings, four brothers and one sister. Her brother's names are Sieko, Seiji, Seikichi, Morimasa and her sister's name is Yoshiko. On the papers I have there are five character references listed as well and they are as follows Fumiko Kiyuna, Seiichi Shinzato, Michiko Shinzato, Shizuko Nakasone, and Seiko Miyahira.
