Deadicated with love.... - 2008/03/28 14:06 To the lovelorn of Okinawa, I share a sweet Birdsong
鳥の歌

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EySBHFVeQl0

Written by Jerry Garcia-Robert Hunter

All I know is something like a bird within her sang,
All I know she sang a little while and then flew on,
Tell me all that you know, I'll show you snow and rain.

If you hear that same sweet song again, will you know why?
Anyone who sings a tune so sweet is passin' by,
Laugh in the sunshine, sing, cry in the dark, fly through the night.

Don't cry now, don't you cry, don't you cry anymore.
Sleep in the stars, don't you cry, dry your eyes on the wind.

All I know is something like a bird within her sang,
All I know she sang a little while and then flew off,
Tell me all that you know, I'll show you snow and rain.

I was stationed in the Army at the 2nd Log Command (Machinato service area) 585th MaintCo, a few miles north of Naha on the west coast, from 3/67 to 10/67. To include 3 TDY trips with USARPAC Calibration Teams.

Re:Deadicated with love.... - 2008/03/29 06:48 I think this says it all, for all of us that left lady friends back in Okinawa. Enjoy the memory but leave that part of your past, as only a memory.
