Shiai 2008

On November 22nd, 2008, the Meibukan Karate Dojo will be hosting this fall's edition on the Shiai/Taikai. As in years past, a new Grand Champion will be crowned. The reigning Champ is Javon Mayhew! And I think he is looking for a repeat! This years events will be as follows, Junbi undo, Kihon Waza, Kata, and Team Kata. There will be also a Kumite division for the junior Adult group. Registration starts at 8:30 a.m.

Okinawa 2008

Liz and Jason Carr made a safe return to PEI the 30th of October after almost a month in Okinawa training at our world headquarters. They had a great time with lots of hard training. Please make an effort to ask them about their trip... as they have lot of great experiences to share. Please stay tune as we will be posting a photo gallery of their trip.
